This year’s edition will take place on May 10 and keeps one of its most special features: free registration. The organization offers 40,000 race bibs, allowing runners of all levels to take part in the event.
The race features a 10 km certified course approved by the Catalan Athletics Federation. The route runs through some of Barcelona’s most iconic streets, starting on Avinguda Diagonal, in front of El Corte Inglés Diagonal, and finishing at Plaça Catalunya.
Beyond the sporting aspect, the Cursa El Corte Inglés also has a strong social and charitable component. Each edition collaborates with a charitable organization, such as the Fundació Xana in recent years, to give visibility to important causes.

The Cursa El Corte Inglés Barcelona course has an approximate distance of 10 km and runs through some of the most iconic streets in the city center. The race starts on Avinguda Diagonal, in front of El Corte Inglés Diagonal, where runners begin the longest straight section of the race, measuring around 2.9 km.
From the start line, runners follow Avinguda Diagonal until reaching Passeig de Gràcia, one of Barcelona’s most famous avenues. The course continues downhill along this street until reaching Carrer d’Aragó, where the race turns right and continues west across the city.
Shortly after, the route turns right again to descend along Carrer de Viladomat. Here runners will find the main refreshment station at kilometer 5.2, a key point to hydrate before tackling the second half of the race.
From Viladomat, the course turns left onto the Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, which features the second longest straight section of the race. This stretch allows runners to maintain a steady rhythm before entering the final kilometers.
In the final part of the race, runners continue along Carrer de Marina before turning left onto Carrer de Casp, which leads directly toward the city center. The finish line is located at Plaça Catalunya, one of the most iconic squares in Barcelona.
The course includes a total of 8 turns and is designed to be accessible for runners of all levels. The race starts at 9:00 AM, and medical assistance provided by the Red Cross is available at the finish area to ensure the safety of all participants.
