What is the route of the Maratón de Murcia Costa Cálida
The TotalEnergies Murcia Costa Cálida Marathon starts at the central Glorieta de España, next to the Town Hall, and finishes in front of the emblematic Murcia Cathedral, at Plaza del Cardenal Belluga. The course, certified by the RFEA and the Región de Murcia Athletics Federation, runs entirely through the city's urban area.
The route passes avenues such as Paseo Teniente Flomesta, Ronda de Garay, Calle Melilla and Avenida Fama, alternating wide sections with more residential areas on the east side of the city.
In its central stretch, the course passes Avenida Miguel Induráin and crosses the Puente Fica bridge, before continuing along Ronda Norte and Avenida de la Libertad.
The final kilometres head back to the historic centre along Gran Vía Escultor Salzillo to the finish line at Plaza de la Catedral, one of Murcia's most iconic spots.

Where to stay for the Maratón de Murcia Costa Cálida
Central Murcia, around the Cathedral and Plaza de las Flores, is the best area to stay: the finish is right at Plaza del Cardenal Belluga, next to the Cathedral, and the start at Glorieta de España is a short walk away.

Getting there from the airport for the Maratón de Murcia Costa Cálida
