What is the route of the Zurich Maratón Sevilla
The Zurich Seville Marathon features one of the fastest courses in Europe: completely flat, almost at sea level and with long avenues that allow runners to maintain a steady pace. The race starts on Avenida de María Luisa and passes through some of Seville's most iconic landmarks, combining monumental areas with wide urban sections that are ideal for chasing a fast time.
During the first part, the course passes through Plaza de España, Avenida del Cid, Menéndez Pelayo and the Ronda de Capuchinos area before heading towards Triana. The sections along Paseo de Cristóbal Colón, Paseo de las Delicias and the Guadalquivir river provide some of the most scenic kilometers of the race, while the long straights make it easy to settle into a comfortable rhythm.
The course continues through Triana, Isla de la Cartuja and Isla Mágica, with wide avenues and an almost completely flat profile. As the race progresses, long straights through Avenida de Kansas City, Avenida de Andalucía and the Nervión area allow runners to focus on maintaining their pace without having to deal with significant elevation changes. The route then heads back towards the monumental center for one of its most spectacular sections.
In the final kilometers, runners pass through Plaza de España, Avenida de la Borbolla, Puerta de Jerez and Avenida de la Constitución, some of the liveliest points of the entire marathon. After crossing the historic center and passing Plaza Nueva, the course reaches its final section along Paseo de las Delicias, where the finish line awaits. A fast, spectacular and highly favorable course for runners looking to achieve a personal best.

Where to stay for the Zurich Maratón Sevilla
The start and finish are next to Paseo de las Delicias and Parque de María Luisa, so the El Arenal, Centro Histórico/Santa Cruz and Prado de San Sebastián/San Bernardo neighborhoods are the most recommended areas if you want to be within walking distance.
Triana, on the other side of the Guadalquivir river, is another good option: the route passes through this area and it has a great atmosphere, although getting to the start means crossing one of the bridges over the river.
Seville is a compact, very walkable city, so any of these areas will leave you a reasonable distance from the start without depending on public transport on race day.
